Billy G. Chambers, the 17-year-old who was previously convicted for killing "Tuba Man" Edward McMichael, was charged Wednesday with first-degree robbery for a Saturday morning incident -- a charged that could bring a 51- to 58-month prison term.

A former auto repair shop owner was sentenced today to one year in the Macomb County Jail and two additional years of probation, and must pay $50,000 in restitution to 28 defrauded customers and police.

It’s been in the works for years and has finally come to life: On July 28, OSHA announced it is issuing a new final rule for cranes and derricks in construction. The agency estimates the new rule will prevent 22 fatalities and 175 injuries each year.
